Fettuccine Alla Bolognese is fettuccine with a delicious meat sauce. Bolognese is a tried-and-true Italian dish, originally from the Northern Italian City of Bologna. The original dish takes hours of simmering, sautéing, and braising. Meat (usually pork or beef) is cooked with carrots, onions, tomato paste, and aromatics to create a crowd-pleasing, hearty dish. Here, we’ve taken the best part of Fettuccine Alla Bolognese—the sauce—and combined it withIt’s Skinny Pasta Fettuccine. Fettuccine Pasta | It's Skinny
  • 1 Package It's Skinny Fettuccini
  • 1 Lb Ground beef
  • 1/4 Lb Pancetta
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • 2 Cups of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbs of tomato paste
  • 1/2 Cup of red wine
  • 1 Bunch of Italian parsley
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1/4 Cup of parmesan cheese


Wash & drain your It's Skinny Fettuccine and set aside
Dice carrots, onion, garlic and pancetta.
In a large pan, sauté your vegetables for approximately 4 minutes or until tender.
Add the pancetta.
Add your ground beef and sauté until brown. Drain the fat from the pan.
In a separate bowl combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and red wine. Pour the mixture into the pan and let simmer.
Add It's Skinny Fettuccine and let cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Top with parmesan cheese, parsley, andlemon zest and enjoy!
