  • 1 package It’s Skinny Spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4-1/2 lb. ham (thick-cut), cubed
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 shallot, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest

Can I skip the ham?

You could also enjoy this dish with bacon instead of ham (turkey bacon would work well). Again, look for protein with similar flavors to ham's cured richness. Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the package of It’s Skinny Spaghetti. Set it aside.
  2. Melt two tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Toss in the chunks of ham and frozen peas. Cook the ingredients for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced shallots and stir to combine. Let them cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss in the fresh basil, and It’s Skinny Spaghetti. Stir to combine and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the pasta is heated through.
  5. Serve the ham and pea spaghetti in a bowl, garnished with fresh lemon zest and additional basil (if preferred). Dig in and enjoy!
